Airline organization Lufthansa has swung between banning the use of AirTags on luggage and making it possible for them.

Lufthansa Airlines

Lufthansa tweeted that Apple’s monitoring equipment have been frowned on in checked baggage, but then did a brief 360 and explained that the AirTag, with its minimal transmission energy and battery, did not pose security hazards.

The company issued a tweet that now enables its use. It was peculiar how the airline thought of the AirTag unsafe in flights irrespective of global regulations indicating they ended up not.

Tweets commenced circulating the world-wide-web when the airport reported that they had been ‘banning activated AirTags from luggage’ as they ended up viewed as ‘dangerous and have to have to be turned off’.

Then, the corporation described how baggage trackers are matter to dangerous goods regulations in accordance to ICAO suggestions. Lufthansa suggests deactivating the trackers through the flight if it is related to checked baggage.

As it turns out, the reference to the battery regulation was off because it says that the battery has to be additional than two grams in order to be integrated.
